Job summary

National Bank of Canada, Capitals Markets, is seeking a Senior Research Coordinator to support the Equity Research team. You will coordinate travel, calendars, data integrity, and reporting while assisting analysts and the Research Director in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include expense tracking, onboarding, access requests, and cross-functional coordination across internal stakeholders. A collaborative, client-focused culture with development opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

  • Hold a college diploma, university certificate, or bachelor's degree in administration, business, finance, or a related field, with relevant administrative coordination experience.
  • Experience coordinating complex travel arrangements, expense management, and executive or departmental administrative activities.
  • Experience working with data management tools, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of financial services, capital markets, research, or a similar professional environment.
  • Experience managing vendor, market data, or technology access requests is a plus.

Job description

A career as a Senior Research Coordinator in the Equity Research team at National Bank of Canada, Capitals Market means acting as a key operational and administrative partner supporting the daily activities of the research function. Your role
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements for analysts and team members, including flights, accommodations, transportation, visa requirements, and travel approvals while ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Manage calendars, administrative activities, and operational priorities to support leaders, analysts, associates, and the Research Director.
  • Maintain client information, marketing materials, contact databases, and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Prepare and track expense reports, travel expenses, management reports, and regulatory documentation in accordance with established requirements.
  • Support onboarding activities, employee records management, vacation tracking, and other departmental administrative processes.
  • Coordinate technology, market data, and system access requests while collaborating with internal partners to resolve issues and support employee lifecycle activities.

Requirements
  • Hold a college diploma, university certificate, or bachelor's degree in administration, business, finance, or a related field, combined with relevant experience in administrative coordination or operational support.
  • Demonstrate experience coordinating complex travel arrangements, expense management, and executive or departmental administrative activities.
  • Have experience working with data management tools, reporting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
  • Have knowledge of financial services, capital markets, research, or a similar professional environment.
  • Experience managing vendor, market data, or technology access requests is considered an asset.
