Job summary

BBA Consultants seeks a Principal Engineer, Renewable Energy to lead development of wind, solar and storage projects in Québec and across Canada, coordinating FEED and detailed engineering to meet schedule and budget.

You will mentor teams, manage development through design, permitting and execution, and interface with IPPs, utilities and regulators to advance high-impact solutions in a fast-growing sector.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
• High initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Québec and familiarity with renewables regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewable power project mandates from development through operations.
• Lead FEED and detailed engineering with value engineering and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with IPPs, utilities and regulators to build technical solutions.
• Provide guidance to project teams across engineering, permitting, and environment.
• Oversee project delivery and ensure KPIs on cost, schedule and quality.
