Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking a Principal Engineer, Renewable Energy to lead the development, interconnection and implementation of wind, solar and storage projects. Based in Québec with opportunities across Canada, you’ll manage FEED and project development engineering, ensuring cost optimization and strong client relationships.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, travel domestically and internationally as needed, and guide engineers and permitting professionals to meet schedules and KPIs in

Qualifications

At least 10 years in renewables or power sector/related engineering and management experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced English to collaborate with other offices and clients; advanced French for Québec.

Responsibilities

Manage renewable power project mandates from development through operations.
Lead FEED delivery and value engineering to meet project objectives.
Coordinate with IPPs, utilities and regulators to deliver technical solutions.
Mentor project teams and oversee internal delivery and day-to-day execution.
Prepare presentations for stakeholders including senior management and clients.
