Job summary

RBC in Toronto is seeking a Senior Manager for Regulatory Reporting within Wealth Management Financial Control. You will lead regulatory reporting for OSFI, Bank of Canada, CDIC, and Statistics Canada, shaping automation and data integrity across complex datasets.

You will interpret evolving regulations, guide finance teams, and collaborate with regulators and auditors. This role requires advanced Excel, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, international

Qualifications

  • CPA or equivalent accounting designation.
  • 5+ years of regulatory reporting experience with automation tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced Excel and data handling skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of key control processes around regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with regulators and business units across geographies to resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of new accounting and regulatory requirements and design data collection processes.
  • Provide clear guidance to finance units on new requirements.
  • Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Suggest process and control improvements to strengthen compliance posture.
  • Lead automation projects for regulatory reporting with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors and regulators as needed to support audits.
