Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is seeking a Manager, SCI Regulatory Reporting, GBM Finance to lead regulatory reporting, consolidation, and review of CIRO/CIPF filings. You will coordinate data from multiple units and ensure accuracy for audit readiness.

You will drive CIRO/CIPF compliance, manage internal/external audits, and mentor team colleagues. A strong accounting background and 5+ years in regulatory reporting are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years in regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of CIRO/CIPF rules and internal controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review regulatory reports for CIRO/CIPF.
• Lead consolidation of regulatory data from SCI units and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide walkthroughs.
• Execute CIRO Financial and Operations Compliance testing.
• Oversee attestation databases for Broadridge and PeopleSoft; report exceptions.
• Implement new reporting requirements and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc GBM Finance projects and provide coverage as needed.
