Job summary

CCI Inc. seeks a Senior Reclamation & Remediation Specialist to drive Alberta environmental services growth. You will lead complex projects, manage client relationships, and guide regulatory submissions, while mentoring staff and ensuring quality and safety.

You will collaborate with regulators, Indigenous communities, landowners, and multidisciplinary teams to address remediation, closure, and liability challenges, aligning with strategic business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field and professional designation in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive reclamation/remediation experience in Alberta.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong technical writing, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Valid Alberta driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client relationship activities across Alberta.
• Provide senior technical leadership from project initiation to regulatory closure.
• Oversee planning, execution, reporting, and submissions for environmental projects.
• Advise on liability management, site closure, and regulatory strategy.
• Mentor junior staff and foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
