Job summary

CCI Inc. is seeking a Senior Reclamation & Remediation Specialist to support the growth of our Environmental Services in British Columbia.

The role combines technical leadership, project oversight, regulatory expertise, and strong client management with an emphasis on contaminated sites, regulatory closure and dormant pipelines. The successful candidate will work with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, landowners and internal teams to address complex reclamation, remediation, closure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agrology, Biology, Geology or a related discipline
• Professional designation in good standing (P.Ag., P.Geo., P.Eng., RPBio or equivalent for BC)
• Designation and scope to sign environmental reports and regulatory submissions in BC
• Experience preparing, reviewing and signing environmental and remediation reports and regulatory submissions
• Minimum 10 years of reclamation and remediation experience in British Columbia
• Knowledge of Energy Resource Activities Act, Dormancy/Shutdown Regulation, Pipeline Regulation and related BCER manuals
• Established BC industry contacts with proven business development, proposals and client relationships
• Excellent communication, technical writing, negotiation and presentation skills
• Valid BC driver’s licence and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Lead business development, client relationships, proposals, estimates, scopes and pursuit strategy.
• Provide senior technical leadership from project initiation through regulatory closure.
• Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and CCI quality standards.
• Review and sign off on technical reports and regulatory submissions where appropriate.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Lead or support dormant pipeline and site compliance programs under BC regs.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk and client expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
• Provide guidance on regulations, standards and industry practices.
• Support audits, due diligence, and regulatory engagements.
