Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Valuer for our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role covers residential, commercial, and industrial valuations, supporting investment decisions and loan origination with high-quality reports.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of valuation experience, SACPVP Professional Valuer registration, and strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Studies, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) as a Professional Valuer is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in property valuation, with a strong understanding of diverse property types.
• Proficiency in valuation methodologies, market analysis, and report writing.
• Excellent understanding of the Kimberley and Northern Cape property market dynamics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport and negotiate.
• Proficiency in relevant valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical inspections and desktop valuations of properties in the Kimberley region.
• Prepare valuation reports with market analysis, comparables, and financial projections.
• Liaise with clients, legal professionals, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to gather information and present findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulatory changes impacting property values.
• Provide expert advice on property acquisition, disposal, and investment strategies.
• Ensure valuations comply with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry contacts and clients.
• Mentor junior valuers and contribute to team development.
