Job summary

Alstom in Saint-Bruno, QC, is seeking a Project Scheduler to detail tender schedules and manage critical paths to ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate with PrPM and partners, build schedules from the WBS, and support Earned Value management activities.

The role requires an engineering or business background with strong Primavera P6 experience and railway industry exposure, in a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or degree in Business Administration/Management is an asset.
• Practical experience of generating and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 software.
• Railway industrial experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Detail the tender schedule based on reference library models, gap analysis and milestones.
• Highlight and manage the critical path and risks related to the project schedule.
• Include interfaces with partners and the Client in the project schedule.
• Timely delivery of all planning deliverables.
• Build the project schedule based on the internal WBS standard and data from PrPM.
• Contribute with the PrPM to Earned Value Management.
• Analyze the project schedule to identify gaps or issues.
• Participate in periodic project planning sessions.
• Provide an updated schedule status with gap analysis.
• Identify early delays on critical paths and schedule risk status.
• Prepare schedule and progress reports for PrPM or Partners.
• Comply with standard project planning procedures.
• Contribute to feedback and best practices.
