Senior Manager - Purchasing - Public Sector

Mississauga, Ontario - Hybrid (4 days in the office)

We are recruiting for a new Senior Manager - Purchasing to lead the Procurement function of this large, well-known Public Sector organisation.

They are seeking someone to lead an approximate $100m spend, including IT, Facilities, Construction and Operations. You will be leading a team of 3 Procurement Specialists to deliver a first-rate procurement service and guide your stakeholders through the ever-changing demands of Public Sector Procurement. There will be opportunities to develop systems and processes, including templates, vendor scoring, contracts management systems and strategic sourcing strategies.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong Public Sector Procurement background with experience of leading and managing. You will have in-depth knowledge or BPS/OPS rules and regulations. You will have an advisory/service approach to Procurement for your stakeholders and an ambition to build the procurement presence in the organisation.
