Job summary

Bird Construction seeks a Senior Proposal Coordinator in Richmond, BC to lead coordination and delivery of strategic proposals. You will work with Business Development, Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations to craft compliant, compelling submissions.

The role requires 5-7 years in proposal coordination, strong writing, and proficiency with InDesign and MS Office. You will mentor junior staff and manage high-value pursuits with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, marketing, business, journalism, or related field; equivalent combination considered.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in proposal coordination, proposal development, or pursuit management in relevant industries.
• Ability to coordinate and deliver complex proposals with deadlines.
• Strong writing/editing skills and ability to tailor content from subject matter experts.
• Knowledge of proposal best practices, compliance, evaluation criteria, and submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Bid Leads to coordinate development, production, and submission of complex proposals and pursuit deliverables.
• Develop and oversee the proposal schedule, matrices, and submission requirements to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings, pursuit planning sessions, reviews, and lessons learned activities.
• Gather content from stakeholders and tailor resumes, project descriptions, and materials.
