Job summary

Zeidler Architecture is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our Toronto/Calgary Studio. You will lead the development, writing, and design of competitive proposals from opportunity through delivery, collaborating with the Proposals and Business Development teams.

The role emphasizes strong writing, coordination, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams, with 100% in-office presence to support direct engagement and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Post-secondarydegree in marketing, communications, architecture, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in architecture, engineering, or design industries.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, writing, editing, and design of competitive proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring clarity and brand alignment.
• Collaborate with the BD team to shape proposal strategy and identify strong project examples.
• Manage proposal timelines and inputs from internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely submissions.
• Customize project profiles, team CVs, and other content for each pursuit.
• Coordinate and format submission documents and oversee delivery.
• Research and evaluate bid opportunities to inform go/no-go discussions.
• Maintain collateral databases including project narratives and boilerplate content.
• Conduct peer reviews of proposals to uphold quality standards.
