Job summary

Beedie is seeking an experienced Senior Finance professional to lead the financial accounting and reporting for its Property Management operations and a 16 million square foot portfolio of industrial and commercial properties.

You will be a key member of the Asset Management and Finance teams, driving decision support, financial reporting, and process improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• University degree and accounting designation (CA/CPA/CGA/CMA)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Property/Asset Management accounting
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with Yardi or similar software
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic decision support to Property/Asset Management
• Oversee accounting and finance activities for the Property Management operations
• Review budgets, forecasts, and cost recoveries
• Coordinate year-end audit and investor reporting
• Lead a team of seven property accountants and staff
