Job summary

Beedie in Burnaby/Greater Vancouver seeks a seasoned Manager, Operations Accounting and Reporting to oversee accounting and financial reporting across Property Management, Development, Asset, Leasing, and Construction platforms.

This hands-on leadership role manages a small team, partners with FP&A and executives, and drives process improvements, cost allocations, and KPI development to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with real estate, construction, or property management is an asset.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach teams and partner with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for Beedie’s operating businesses.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee intercompany activity, cost allocations, and KPI development.
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders on budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop the team and promote process improvements.
