Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure projects in Toronto, reporting to the Sr. Project Manager. The role includes managing proposals, ECIs, EPCs, and budgets while coordinating with cross-functional teams across construction and concessions.

The successful candidate will have 3–5+ years in project management, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Primavera P6, and MS Project. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering/construction project management education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in a Project Manager role; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience reading construction drawings; proficiency with PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions with operations and estimating teams.
• Lead projects on-site with construction team; manage schedules and milestones.
• Resolve issues and escalate to Sr. Project Manager as needed.
• Travel to site locations may be required; ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor budgets, change management, and subcontractor management.
• Conduct weekly scheduling meetings and provide technical support.
