Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Heavy Industrial) to lead delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects across Ontario. You will oversee pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.

The role requires multidisciplinary coordination (civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation) and experience with self-perform construction. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Lead execution of heavy industrial projects and manage multidisciplinary scopes.
• Experience on brownfield expansions, capital upgrades and greenfield builds.
• Develop execution strategies to maximize self-perform construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities.
• Drive constructability reviews and turnover planning.
• Manage project controls, scheduling, cost management and risk.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Mentor and lead teams including union/non-union workforces.
