Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful execution and delivery of complex projects across domestic and international scopes. The role acts as the primary interface between Stantec, clients and subconsultants, mentoring other PMs and driving project profitability.

Candidate will manage multi-phase design/construction with responsibility for schedule, budget, and contract requirements, including QA/QC and client communications.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience.
• Formal Project Management training.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage domestic and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive the work on the project; set the priorities, procedures, scope and schedule; publish and coordinate project team member assignments.
• Manage assigned projects through all stages of the project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closure).
• Follow and implement all established company processes and procedures.
• Independently develop a detailed Work Plan for completing the design within scope, timeline and budget.
