Job summary

Stantec, Calgary AB, seeks Project Managers to lead large, complex projects across Healthcare, Commercial, Retail, Aviation, Transportation, Education, and Justice. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on project planning, execution, and cost controls.

The role requires a minimum of five years of experience in project management, familiarity with alternative delivery models, and PMP or related designation preferred. Hybrid office environment with field exposure possible.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large complex projects (Healthcare, Commercial, Retail, Aviation, Transportation, Education, and Justice)
• Demonstrated experience in Alternative Project Delivery models
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Professional designation and/or PMP preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly manage aspects of large and complex projects to achieve client satisfaction, quality deliverables, schedule, and budgeting objectives
• Create and execute project execution plans, including work plans, resource plans, risk management plans
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope
• Ensure project documents and contracts are approved and filed per Stantec processes
• Facilitate regular team and client meetings and communicate project updates
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for value-added services
