Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Program and Construction Management team in Calgary. You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and advise clients through all life-cycle stages, applying deep construction industry knowledge and strong leadership.

You will collaborate across sectors, manage risks, and mentor staff while building relationships with stakeholders and presenting at conferences to raise the team’s profile.

• Involvement on projects with a wide range of procurement methods is an asset.
• Strong leadership and ability to advance a project team with consistent quality.
• Strong collaboration to manage multi-disciplinary teams and programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and communication.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Directly deliver or oversee projects and programs ensuring quality, budget, and schedule.
• Understand Stantec systems and business processes.
• Advise on capital projects of varying size and complexity across sectors.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance oversight to project teams.
• Engage with clients to obtain feedback and raise the team’s profile in the industry.
