Job summary

Ausenco is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead construction execution on a major North American mining project. This FIFO site-based role requires hands-on leadership across multiple disciplines, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality while coordinating with engineering, procurement and commissioning teams.

You will bring 8–15+ years of mining construction, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and strong EPC/EPCM contractor management experience to drive successful handover to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8-15+ years of construction experience in mining, minerals processing, metals or heavy industry.
• FIFO site experience and strong safety culture.
• Proven leadership of large multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM contracts and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for construction activities across the project site.
• Develop and execute the construction strategy and plans.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines and contractors to align with schedule.
• Uphold HSE standards and drive a safe, productive site.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Engineering, Procurement and Controls to ensure smooth handover.
