Job summary

Ausenco is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in the mining and metals industry to join our project delivery team. The successful candidate will support the project from early engineering through procurement, construction and handover.

The role starts office-based, supporting project development, engineering coordination, design reviews and procurement support. Following EPCM award, the position transitions to FIFO site-based, providing engineering leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Typically 5–10 years of engineering/project experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Professional Engineering designation such as P.Eng. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to the construction management team.
• Act as engineering interface between site construction and the office.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines.
• Ensure safety, quality, and constructability considerations are met.
