As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead and provide guidance on project management methodologies, tools, and processes, providing project-specific management, guidance, organization and communication to the project team and project stakeholders. You can expect projects of high complexity and sensitivity, which present complex challenges in development and implementation.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Collaborate with project team members, leaders, and stakeholders to clearly define project scope, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with stakeholder and client needs, fostering support both internally and externally within the organization.

  • Monitor and manage resources allocated to assigned projects, driving the team towards meeting scope and timelines.

  • Proactively identify, track, and resolve risks and issues associated with projects, implementing mitigation strategies to prevent or minimize their impact.

  • Provide regular project performance reports encompassing status updates, progress evaluations, and risk assessments, identifying areas requiring intervention to ensure project success.

  • Advise and share knowledge with internal and external project stakeholders on project management best practices.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, public policy, engineering, or related discipline.

  • 7-10 years project/program management.

  • Experience with geoscience-related projects is highly valued.

  • PMP or PgMP certification, or active progress toward these designations, is preferred.

  • PROSCI Change Management certification is considered an asset.

  • Proven ability to influence and lead without formal authority.

  • Advanced expertise in project management methodologies and best practices.

  • Display proficiency in communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and experience in risk, change, and stakeholder management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing.
