Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Project Manager - Interim Capacity to support a major airport infrastructure program in Toronto’s west end. You will provide specialist project management expertise and work with Senior PMs and Construction Managers to drive delivery, manage contractor performance, and coordinate permits, approvals and site logistics.

The role requires 10+ years in project/program management, 5+ years on large airport projects, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project/program management.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.
Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs.

Responsibilities

Provides specialist project management expertise.
Works with Program Lead to manage contractor performance and accelerate decisions.
Interfaces with stakeholder groups to align consultations and approvals.
Coordinates permits, approvals, and site logistics with the contractor.
Oversees delivery of works in scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.
Coordinates change control procedures and escalation of decisions.
Supports reviews, inspections, and approvals across design, safety, quality, environment, and security.
Coordinates procurement and contract management activities.
Coaches and mentors staff.
