Job summary

GE Vernova in Canada is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional hardware and software product development for the GridBeats portfolio. The role requires exceptional program management, stakeholder engagement, and a track record of delivering across global engineering teams.

You will drive PMO governance, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled planning while overseeing schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
10+ years of proven project/program management experience, delivering complex hardware and software projects.
Leadership: ability to influence and lead in a matrixed organization.
PM frameworks and continuous improvement knowledge.
Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or Agile-related; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt; PMO leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple complex, interconnected product development projects from inception to delivery.
Manage integrated schedules, budgets, resource allocation, KPIs, and roadmap alignment.
Lead governance forums and steering committees across matrixed teams.
Mentor geographically dispersed cross-functional teams and support PMO development.
Drive Lean/Kaizen improvements and monitor key quality metrics.
Advance AI-enabled project management for predictive scheduling and risk identification.
Utilize Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Planner, Smartsheet; Power BI proficiency is highly desired.
