GE Vernova is seeking a mid-to-senior Project Engineer to direct and coordinate engineering and design for assigned projects in Canada. The role emphasizes timely decision making, technical interfaces among engineers, customers, and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.

The successful candidate will manage complex interfaces, lead technical reviews, and contribute to proposals while tracking progress, budgets, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of power industry project management, design, or operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate engineering and design for assigned projects.
• Coordinate timely decision making on project technical issues with internal authorities.
• Establish and manage the technical interface among engineers, customers and subcontractors.
• Provide oversight for subcontractor engineering work on projects.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support proposals with technical portions and communicate progress to management.
