Job summary

BeachHead Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Financial Specialist to oversee governance, forecasting, and resource management in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure accurate financial oversight and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in project coordination with a strong FP&A background and experience with GL reconciliation, Eclipse, and BI tools. This role offers a dynamic Toronto-area opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Project Coordination with financial focus.
• Experience managing program and project financials incl. GL reconciliation and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data from multiple systems.
• Data-driven mindset with insights from data relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project financial forecasts, monitor progress, and escalate risks as needed.
• Manage and reconcile project financials, including accruals, GL reconciliation, chargebacks, invoice tracing, forecasting, and variance analysis with commentary.
• Prepare and deliver financial and status reports for leadership teams and executive committees.
• Lead governance activities and contribute to operational process improvements, tools, and reporting enhancements.
• Respond to shifting priorities, manage multiple deliverables, and support project milestones.
• Support resource allocation governance, onboard users to Eclipse, and provide troubleshooting and user support.
• Create, reengineer, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency.
• Assist the director in preparing executive presentations and conduct ad hoc analysis on financial data and metrics.
