Job summary

Canada Life in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis to lead critical forecasting, reporting, and performance management for the enterprise. The role provides strategic insight to senior leadership and partners with IT to optimize data tools and ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in FP&A with leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft technologies, supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• CPA or CFA designation is helpful.
• 5–8 years of FP&A experience with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate quarterly financial forecast with assumptions and timeline.
• Provide quarterly reports with variance commentary and risk/opportunity review.
• Assist in development of financial reports including future outlook and risk analysis.
• Provide reporting and decision-support via scenario modeling/sensitivity analyses.
• Improve FP&A processes to enhance reporting capacity and data integrity.
• Partner with operational leadership to align financial goals with business strategies.
• Explain complex financial terms to non-financial stakeholders.
• Mentor junior professionals and ensure on-time reporting delivery.
