Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to shape Ontario's communities by steering land development and municipal engineering projects from planning to delivery. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, guide client communications, support approvals, and deepen your project management expertise with elevated leadership responsibilities.

The role requires 8+ years in land development or municipal engineering, P.Eng. eligibility in Ontario, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in land development or municipal engineering with project management exposure.
• Eligibility for or possession of P.Eng. in Ontario.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and navigating complex land development processes.
• Strong understanding of Ontario's municipal approvals landscape.
• Familiarity with project management tools and digital delivery practices.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with clear, empathetic leadership.
• Strong professional network within land development sector.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary land development projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
• Drive client communication, strengthen trusted relationships, and ensure expectations, risks, and decisions are clearly understood.
• Mentor project teams, empowering junior staff and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment on scope, progress, and technical requirements.
• Track and manage project schedules, budgets, resourcing, financial performance, and deliverables.
• Support municipal and agency approvals leveraging WSP's Ontario relationships.
• Contribute to proposal development, growth strategies, and business development initiatives.
• Support quality control, risk management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Grow leadership capabilities in a dynamic, supportive, self-driven environment.

Compensation:

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
• MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
• NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
