Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and deliver land development and municipal infrastructure projects across Northern Ontario. The role involves building relationships with municipal, industrial, and public-sector clients and guiding projects from concept through construction.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and contribute to business development to grow WSP's presence in Sudbury and across Northern Ontario.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive experience delivering land development and municipal engineering projects within Ontario.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario with demonstrated experience working with municipalities, agencies, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Ontario's land development, municipal servicing, and development approvals processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Proven experience leading project teams, managing client relationships, and delivering successful project outcomes.
• Demonstrated business development experience including proposal preparation, fee development, client engagement, and pursuit strategy support.
• Experience supporting municipal, industrial, transportation, land development, mining, or resource-sector projects is considered a strong asset.
• Valid Ontario driver's licence (or ability to obtain one) and willingness to travel periodically throughout Northern Ontario.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800

MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
