Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to lead capital projects from origination through commissioning in a fast-paced food manufacturing context. You will drive ROI, risk analysis, and vendor negotiations while ensuring safety and ergonomic layouts.

Your role spans URS preparation, FAT/SAT, and handovers to sustain innovations. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in CPG capital projects, an engineering degree (PEng an asset), and strong collaboration across

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in capital project management in the CPG industry (Food Manufacturing preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering; PEng an asset.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project origination, evaluation, vendor selection and commissioning.
• Develop and execute project justification, risk analysis, cost estimates, budget timelines, scope and ROI.
• Prepare URS for new equipment and participate in FAT/SAT.
• Generate technical bid packages for contractors.
• Design equipment/plant layout with safety, ergonomics, efficiency in mind.
• Manage contractors and stakeholders via effective communication.
• Establish handover processes to ensure innovations are executed right first time.
• Collaborate with all departments to identify opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Demonstrates ownership by continuous improvement with urgency.
• Pursue learning opportunities to launch new products and deploy new technologies.
• Keep the work atmosphere fun.
