Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Manager - R&D and Innovation (Private Label + Emerging Brands) to lead technical NPD for private labels and emerging brands, from concept to commercialization.

You will guide formulation, validation, and scale-up, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will build and coach a high-performing food science team, drive innovation, ensure food safety, optimize cost of goods, and align

• Leadership and/or management capabilities demonstrated
• Experience in new product development from ideation to launch
• Experience working in food manufacturing facilities
• Passion for innovation and driving growth

Responsibilities

• Lead technical NPD for Private Brands & Emerging Brands from brief to first production
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations on portfolio strategy
• Provide technical leadership in ingredient functionality and manufacturing processes
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of food scientists
• Drive continuous improvement and risk assessment for RD&I initiatives
