Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across production lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while hitting targets. The role focuses on developing frontline talent and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, manage staffing and payroll, and promote Riverside's values. Salary range CAD 70,000–80,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Science, Business Operations, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with knowledge of production operations.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, GMP, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team of hourly employees across one or multiple lines while promoting Riverside values.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute daily production activities to achieve schedules and targets.
• Optimize labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Coach and develop employees to strengthen bench strength and capability.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to eliminate issues.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and payroll accuracy in ADP.
• Promote continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and waste reduction.
