Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Vaughan, Ontario, is looking for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead safe, compliant, and efficient production operations.

You will coordinate people, materials, equipment, and processes to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will develop frontline talent, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, GMP, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading teams and improving production operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team across one or multiple lines while upholding Riverside's values.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute daily production activities to meet schedules and targets.
• Optimize labor, equipment, and materials usage to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coach and develop employees to build capability and bench strength.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D to achieve objectives.
• Review timekeeping and support payroll accuracy; manage attendance and vacation.
• Promote continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and waste reduction initiatives.
