Job summary

Parker Huggett - A Division of LRO Staffing is helping a leading Canadian General Contractor find a Project Coordinator to join its Ontario infrastructure delivery team. The role supports Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating people, information, and schedules across major transit and civil projects in the GTA.

You’ll work alongside experienced project leaders, focusing on process execution, risk management, and timely project delivery while advancing your career in project

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Major Transit and Civil projects.
  • Experience with General Contractor on large civil, infrastructure, transit, institutional, or commercial construction projects.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to maintain momentum.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and project performance.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and developing practical solutions.
  • Exposure to transit infrastructure, station construction, trackwork, or cladding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders to maintain project momentum and delivery.
  • Support project controls, scheduling, cost management, and reporting.
  • Assist with contract administration and project documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and teams.

About You

You’re an experienced Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator who enjoys being at the centre of project delivery and takes pride in keeping complex projects organized, on schedule, and moving toward successful completion.


The successful candidate will have the following:



  • 5+ years of applicable experience in Major Transit and Civil projects

  • Have experience working for a General Contractor on large civil, infrastructure, transit, institutional, or commercial construction projects

  • Enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders and bringing teams together to solve problems and maintain momentum

  • Thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve and adaptability is essential

  • Understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams

  • Are passionate about maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and project performance

  • Have experience supporting project controls, scheduling, cost management, contract administration, and project reporting

  • Bring strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities

  • Are comfortable identifying challenges early and working collaboratively to develop practical solutions

  • Have exposure to transit infrastructure, station construction, trackwork, architectural finishes, or cladding projects and are looking to continue building expertise in these areas

  • Are motivated by professional growth and eager to take on increasing responsibility as your career progresses
