Job summary

Ledcor Building seeks a Senior Project Coordinator with 5+ years in multi-disciplinary commercial construction to plan, organize and execute project strategies with the Project Manager for a major commercial project in Toronto, ON. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ICI building construction projects.
• Post-secondary education in Construction or Engineering is an asset.
• Experience in full-cycle new build construction; design-build and commercial construction preferred.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles, and practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to address stakeholder needs.
• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs; familiar with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a culture of health, safety and environmental protection on the project by implementing the Project Specific Safety Program.
• Coordinates and administers the Project Quality Plan.
• Maintains project start-up systems and procedures including filing, billings, cost accounting, and directory.
• Performs general administrative tasks including document review, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Supports subcontract management and procurement; processes invoices and progress claims; reviews documents.
• Coordinates change order management by securing pricing, submitting for approval, and following through with change orders.
• Participates in tracking project milestones and assists with the project schedule and baseline.
• Coordinates Commissioning Quality Management Plan and Commissioning Plan.
• Prepares for project close-out with warranties, O&M manuals and turnover documents.
