Compensation Range : $58,200 To $73,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and / or location.

Job Purpose

The Sr Project Coordinator position will manage small to mid-size based projects through the entire project lifecycle, as well as directing and advising the technical field teams in order to drive a successful client implementation.

As a core member of the project team (PMO), the Sr Project Coordinator will also work closely with Project Managers in implementation, project monitoring (schedule and financials) as well as day to day coordination / operations of technical field teams (internal and external subtrades) assigned to the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work independently on small and mid-size projects
  • Work directly with a Project Manager on medium and large projects
  • Engage Service Estimation for critical information (Scope of Work, Costings, and technical questions),
  • Review assigned project information for accuracy regarding scope of work (SOW), costing, materials and miscellaneous
  • Continuously review and update estimated costing information in ERP (Syteline)
  • Maintaining all SRO related dates within the ERP system based on input from the various departments
  • Work with the Project Manager in defining the strategy to execute the project and tactically support
  • Drive to keep project on schedule, monitor and track budget
  • Attend / manage weekly scheduling meetings for field staff assignments
  • Document control to maintain detailed and accurate records
  • Track and feed information to standard templates / systems
  • Assist / identify in creation of Change Orders
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes
  • Responsible for Customer site access tickets (NCT’s, threats)
  • Performing accurate cost analysis on all assigned projects as well as any post mortems
  • Work with internal teams to obtain delivery dates of capital equipment and materials to coordinate for installations
  • Complete proper month end cleanup for all work performed

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Constant and consistent communication amongst all project team members
  • Be an active participant in Project Management Office (PMO) huddles and meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team and external to the team to eliminate waste and improve processes and quality.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, take action when possible and involve management team when additional support is needed.
  • Ensure corporate practices for safety and general best practices for safety are followed at all times
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and ensure inventories are accurate to maintain the integrity of the facility through cycle counts, annual inventories and various audits
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager, PMO

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Experience in operations management culture
  • Ability to interpret and understand financial statements
  • Ability to clearly convey, deliver and understand process flow and operational concepts in English

ii) Skills and Skill Levels

  • Experience and ability in the use of Syteline or other ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent computer skills (specifically MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)
  • Ability and confidence to make decisions on a day-to-day basis
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of Project Coordination

iii) Other Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Incumbent must obtain a Criminal Record Check and Drivers Abstract on regular intervals upon starting and during employment.
