Job summary

PM2CM, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Controls Advisor in Los Angeles County to consolidate scope and cost for projects from $25M to $1B+. You will coordinate with PM, Engineering, Finance and Legal to prepare cost estimates and support governance reviews.

You will perform variance analysis, peer reviews, and maintain documentation for regulatory filings to ensure accuracy and benchmark alignment.

Qualifications

Minimum of ten years construction industry experience.
Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.
Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering plans and schematics, and soils reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extremely detail-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and manage the process for gathering scope and cost for project aggregations at each stage gate from all disciplines.
Analyze cost estimates to verify they are in-line with historical benchmarks for projects with comparable scope and investigate drivers for outliers.
Prepare scope take-off and estimates based on design specs and drawings; update as needed.
Peer review project aggregations and ensure accuracy; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
