Job summary

Autodesk in Toronto, Ontario seeks a Senior Industry Manager for Production Environments to lead strategy across industrial operations domains, guiding customers toward connected, efficient, and resilient workflows.

You will partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate customer needs into market strategies, product priorities, and go-to-market plans, and you will engage with senior leaders and industry ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial operations, product strategy, market strategy, consulting, enterprise technology, or transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of production environments and the workflows, business priorities, and technologies that shape them.
  • Experience developing market, product, business, or transformation strategies using customer research, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and market sizing.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic priorities and decisions across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience engaging senior customer leadership, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear and compelling.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25-30%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an evidence-based perspective on how production environments are evolving, grounded in customer workflows and market dynamics.
  • Collect and synthesize insights to identify opportunities for Autodesk.
  • Frame and evaluate strategic opportunities with clear customer value and measures of success.
  • Shape market strategy and prioritise where Autodesk can win and invest.
  • Translate industry opportunities into product, partnership, and portfolio priorities.
  • Develop credible recommendations with risks and outcomes clearly defined.
  • Influence roadmap and investment decisions across teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and industry peers.
  • Lead high-value customer engagements to test ideas and surface needs.
  • Represent Autodesk as an industry voice and trusted advisor.
  • Use external engagement to strengthen market perspective and ecosystem ties.
  • Create compelling narratives for senior audiences.
  • Lead through influence across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Guide strategic initiatives from insight to execution.
