Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is seeking a Senior Product Owner for Decisioning & Orchestration to shape NBA capabilities and a modernization roadmap. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration across Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Channels to deliver timely, personalized client experiences.

The role requires extensive experience in product management, decisioning, and platform modernization, with a focus on governance, measurement, and adoption across enterprise channels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management, personalization, MarTech, decisioning, digital delivery, or client engagement roles.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with enterprise decisioning, NBA, orchestration, or personalization platforms such as Pega Customer Decision Hub, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of customer data foundations, decisioning logic, eligibility frameworks, propensity models, real-time decisioning, and omnichannel activation.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale platform modernization initiatives, including technology migration, architecture evolution, vendor implementation, and enterprise integration.
• Demonstrated success driving organizational adoption of new capabilities through stakeholder alignment, operating model evolution, governance design, and business process changes.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, business cases, investment strategies, and measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across Business, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and vendor partners.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate between business and technical audiences.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for decisioning, orchestration, and NBA capabilities aligned to personalization goals and modernization priorities.
• Own prioritization and product outcomes, balancing long-term evolution against ongoing demand and informing investment decisions.
• Define requirements, standards, and reusable decisioning services that scale across channels and lines of business.
• Maintain the product backlog and translate objectives into epics, features, and user stories with Business, Channels, Marketing, Digital, Analytics, and Technology teams.
• Lead an agile, cross-functional delivery model across Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, and vendor partners.
• Define delivery artifacts, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, integration specs, and channel enablement activities.
• Manage release planning, risks, and milestones to meet the roadmap.
• Balance modernization milestones with ongoing demand while ensuring stability and quality.
• Focus on governance, testing, validation of outcomes, and operational oversight.
