Job summary

Encircle is hiring a senior product/UX designer to own a complex product area end‑to‑end. You’ll work with four designers across five squads handling the full restoration workflow, from first notice of loss to completion, within a remote‑first setup with a Kitchener hub.

You’ll ship across Web, Mobile, and Tablet, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering while shaping our design system and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a product or UX designer with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong Figma craft: components, systems thinking, prototyping, and specs.
• Familiarity with AI tools in design workflow; good judgment on their use.
• Comfort designing with technical constraints and cross‑functional talks with engineers.
• Experience with usability testing and integrating critique into design practice.
• Able to adapt in a fast‑moving, sometimes ambiguous environment.
• A design mindset to elevate Encircle's overall design practice.

Responsibilities

• Own design for a product area across its full lifecycle from research to shipped software.
• Design across Web, Mobile, and Tablet (iOS & Android).
• Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering as a trifecta.
• Contribute to and enforce the design system across Shared, Web, and Mobile.
• Utilize AI tools to support research, iteration, prototyping, or critique.
• Engage with customers on context and needs from restoration professionals.
• Run or contribute to workshops and briefs to define opportunities with stakeholders.
