Solina in Toronto is seeking a Process & Packaging Automation Technician reporting to the Maintenance Director. You will ensure reliable operation of automated manufacturing and packaging systems through expert troubleshooting, technical support, and automation know-how.

Key duties include diagnosing complex issues, supporting process and packaging automation, and collaborating with OEMs, system integrators, and service providers to maximize uptime while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on automation troubleshooting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with process and packaging automation is strongly preferred.
• Industrial automation, safety, and documentation practices required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and resolve complex automation issues on manufacturing lines.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, networks, sensors, and control systems.
• Provide advanced controls support to maintenance staff.
• Support automation projects, FAT/SAT, and documentation upkeep.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all automation work.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and external vendors.
