Job summary

FISPAN is seeking a Manager, PMO in downtown Vancouver to lead the PMO through a growth phase. The role focuses on building a scalable operating model, governance, and a high-performing team that can sustain increasing project volumes.

You will drive portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and governance, while partnering with Finance and senior leadership to deliver measurable value. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program/project management, including 4–5 years directly owning a PMO function.
• Proven track record transforming or rebuilding a PMO's operating model.
• Experience designing or operating tiered or portfolio-based resourcing models.
• Direct experience with revenue recognition, delivery economics, or portfolio-value modeling.
• Demonstrated people leadership across multiple levels.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Hands-on in build/rebuild phases; not just maintaining an mature PMO.
• Excellent executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio governance for bank-delivery portfolio, establishing scalable intake, prioritization, and resource-allocation.
• Lead and develop a multi-tiered PM organization with clear ownership and escalation frameworks.
• Own financial governance for the PMO portfolio, including revenue forecasting and benefits realization tracking.
• Partner with Finance on revenue governance and delivery reporting as the business grows.
• Establish the PMO as a center of excellence with repeatable playbooks and service offerings.
• Build succession planning and career development across the PM organization.
• Define PMO role boundaries across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Partner-facing functions.
• Act as a change management partner for major operating-model transitions.
