Job summary

RBC is seeking an IT leader for Wealth Management Technology & Solutions to oversee the WMTS Platform team, provisioning, supporting, and automating platform services for the group. You will coordinate with Dev, QA, Ops, and PM teams to fulfill objectives and drive platform improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in platform/infrastructure and 3+ years in project/resource management, with deep knowledge of Linux/Windows, SQL Server, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Platform/Infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years project management/resource management experience in IT.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux/Windows Servers, SQL Server, distributed DB and/or Snowflake, and Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCP).
• Knowledge of PM, Resource Management, SDLC, and SRE.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Platform team under Wealth Management Technology & Solutions.
• Work with architect team to provide strategies, directions, and roadmap for WMTS Platforms.
• Lead WMTS Platform initiatives (OS/DB upgrades, migrations, security remediation).
• Establish WMTS platform standards, guidelines, and best practices for RBC enterprise level.
