Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. (GIP) seeks an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to manage a portfolio of major highway and bridge construction projects across Ontario.

You will develop, monitor, and analyze multiple schedules and serve as a trusted planning advisor to project management and operations teams. This role suits a planner who can work independently, collaborate with operations, and provide practical scheduling solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of planning and scheduling experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience delivering highway, bridge, or major civil construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Support projects from tender through construction and project closeout.
• Analyze project schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor critical path activities, schedule performance, and forecast completion dates.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Work with project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams to develop realistic plans.
• Prepare schedule updates, forecasts, and progress reporting for project teams and senior leadership.
• Support schedule impact assessments, recovery planning, and change management initiatives.
• Contribute to planning best practices and mentor junior scheduling staff.
