Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners seeks a Senior Planner/Scheduler to manage schedules for highway and bridge projects across Ontario, reporting to Planning. The role focuses on developing, monitoring, and advising on project schedules while collaborating with operations teams in a fast-paced construction setting.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in heavy civil scheduling, expertise in Primavera P6, and strong CPM knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of planning and scheduling experience in heavy civil, transportation, or infrastructure construction.
  • Experience delivering highway, bridge, or major civil construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, resource planning, and schedule analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Valid G driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Ontario.

  • Prepare schedule updates, forecasts, and progress reporting for project teams and senior leadership.
  • Support schedule impact assessments, recovery planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Contribute to planning best practices and mentor junior scheduling staff when required.

Summary

GIP is seeking an experienced Senior Planner/Scheduler to support a portfolio of major highway and bridge construction projects across Ontario. Reporting to the Director, Planning, you will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and analyzing multiple schedules active projects at any given time and serve as a trusted planning advisor to project management and operations teams.

This position is ideal for a planner who is confident working independently, enjoys collaborating with operations teams, and can provide practical scheduling solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Primary Scope Of Role

  • Expected Base Salary: $85 000 - $115 000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
