St. Joseph’s Foundation seeks an experienced Senior Philanthropy Officer to manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects and lead annual giving initiatives to grow philanthropic revenue for St.

Joseph’s Health Centre and its five operating entities. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, you will build meaningful donor relationships, develop compelling cases for support, and lead solicitations to meet revenue targets, while coordinating with leaders, clinicians and partners to

Qualifications

• 5–7 years progressive fundraising or advancement experience with donor relationship management and revenue generation.
• Healthcare philanthropy experience is an asset.
• Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and annual giving.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong writing ability for donor communications and cases for support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospects.
• Develop moves-management cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and renewal strategies.
• Build lasting donor relationships and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
• Develop compelling proposals and donor communications aligned with donor interests and priorities.
• Lead donor solicitations and secure philanthropic commitments to meet revenue targets.
• Identify major gift potential and collaborate with the Director on strategy.
• Lead annual giving planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate annual appeals and direct-response fundraising across channels.
