Job summary

Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation seeks a Senior Philanthropy Officer to lead major gifts, planned giving, donor engagement and stewardship. You will manage an active portfolio of about 50 donors with capacity to give $50,000+ and work closely with Foundation colleagues, physicians, hospital leaders and volunteers to secure transformative gifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience with success securing major gifts.
• Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts at $50,000+ level.
• Experience building trusted relationships with donors, volunteers, executives, physicians, and community leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategies for major gifts, planned giving, donor engagement and stewardship.
• Manage an active portfolio of ~50 major gift donors and prospects.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts aligning with Foundation goals.
• Collaborate with volunteers, hospital leaders and professionals to advance donor relationships.
