Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Calgary is seeking a Senior Personal Banker – Home Borrowing Trainee to deliver tailored financial guidance and support to customers seeking real estate loans. You will build trust through proactive conversations and expert knowledge of TD home lending products.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer-facing banking roles, with IFC accreditation and CFSA planned within set timeframes. Mobility within the district is required as per the training program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) accreditation or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA) within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch with home borrowing focus.
• Deep knowledge of Real Estate Secured Lending products and TDCT offerings.
• Ask questions to uncover customer needs and bring in experts as needed.
• Provide ongoing financial advice to improve customer confidence.
• Be a subject matter expert on TD banking products and policies in the branch.
