Job summary

Dentalcorp Health Services LTD. in Toronto is seeking a Senior Payroll professional to lead Canadian multi-provincial payroll activities and serve as a Workday Payroll SME.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and HRIS, implementing process improvements and supporting audits to ensure accurate and compliant payroll delivery across the organization. The role emphasizes governance, mentorship, and cross-functional partnership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Canadian payroll experience for multi-provincial payrolls with year-end reporting.
• PCP designation required; PLP designation considered an asset.
• Workday Payroll experience including testing, enhancements, changes, or projects.
• Strong analytical, Excel, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Canadian multi-provincial payroll activities including processing, balancing, validation, and remittances.
• Serve as a Workday Payroll subject matter expert, supporting configuration, testing, and changes.
• Improve payroll processes, controls, automation, and efficiency across the organization.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Treasury, Tax, and HRIS to resolve payroll matters and support audits.
• Mentor Payroll Analysts and provide technical guidance on complex scenarios.
