Job summary

123Dentist seeks a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations across a multi-entity national organization. You will perform hands-on payroll processing, ensure accuracy and on-time delivery, and partner with HR and Finance to support employee lifecycle changes and reporting requirements.

This role requires strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and process-improvement capabilities. You’ll handle bi-weekly payroll, year-end tasks (T4/RL1), and ensure compliance across provinces in

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, including multi-entity environment.
  • PCP certification required; CPM is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookups; strong attention to detail and deadline management.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day payroll operations across multiple entities.
  • Review and validate bi-weekly payroll, resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation across provinces.
  • Act as escalation point for complex payroll inquiries and issues.
  • Partner with HR, Finance and operations to reflect employee changes and reporting needs.
  • Maintain payroll records and support audit requirements and documentation.
  • Assist with year-end activities, including T4 and RL1 preparation and reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase payroll efficiency.
  • Support onboarding and training of new payroll team members.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations across a multi-entity, national organization.

This role combines hands-on payroll processing with process improvement, requiring strong technical expertise and attention to detail. You’ll play a key role in ensuring payroll is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support employee lifecycle changes and reporting requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Support day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple entities
  • Review and validate bi-weekly payroll, identifying and resolving discrepancies
